Backwater Spice Co. was born where the pavement ends and the marsh begins. We craft finger-licking blends inspired by marsh air, low tides, and long meals that stretch into the evening. We don’t water things down—every jar is packed with intentional, high-impact ingredients designed to layer heat, salt, herbs, and depth without overpowering the food.
Every blend is built to wake up your food, your senses, and maybe even the folks around your table. We believe good flavor should feel honest, a little wild, and deeply rooted—like a meal shared outdoors with muddy boots, full plates, and no rush to be anywhere else. We want every shake to feel like you’re right there with us, eating off a dock, swapping stories, and passing plates.
Our faith grounds us in the belief that slowing down matters—that sitting together, giving thanks, and sharing a meal builds something bigger than dinner. Around here, the table is sacred ground, the flavors are bold, and everyone’s invited to sit down, unplug, and eat like they mean it.
Our Crew consists of a marsh junkie, his twin brother, and their father.
